Counting down to the tour ...

All the arrangements are now coming together nicely with the hotel and mini-bus all booked.  We have also now ordered our batch of tour t-shirts, polo-shirts and hoodies from locally based company http://www.forexample.org/ where we have received excellent service, thanks!  As I write, Caroline is in town with two of the girls choosing and buying new dresses for the tour, too, so it's becoming more exciting by the day.


It's going to be three full-on days with travel and singing so we know we're going to have to look after our voices and get enough rest.  We realised last weekend how exhausting it might all be when we sang in Woodhouse Eaves alongside Caroline Sharpe Singers http://www.carolinesharpe.com/caroline-sharpe-singers/ on Friday 29th and then again in Whissendine at the Village Hall on Saturday 30th with Belvoir Wassailers http://www.belvoirwassailers.org.uk/ .

It isn't just the singing that tires you out it's all the preparations, travel and rehearsals, too, and then you need time to wind down.  However, the adrenalin will keep us going no doubt.
